Solid.SEO is a complete SEO solution for WordPress developed by SolidWeb AS. The plugin brings together technical SEO, metadata, sitemaps, Schema, redirects, social media and analytics tools in one streamlined solution – completely without AI features or unnecessary complexity.

The goal is simple: You should be able to manage the most important aspects of search engine optimization directly in WordPress, without relying on several different plugins.

With Solid.SEO, every page, post and public content type has its own settings for SEO title, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, focus keyword, Schema and social media sharing. The plugin also generates the technical signals search engines need to understand and index the website correctly.

XML Sitemap, News Sitemap and Video Sitemap

Solid.SEO has a complete sitemap engine that automatically keeps track of the website’s content.

The plugin supports, among other things:

  • XML Sitemap Index
  • separate sitemap files for posts, pages and custom post types
  • automatic segmentation for larger websites
  • images in sitemaps
  • Google News Sitemap
  • automatic restriction of news content to the relevant time period
  • Video Sitemap
  • support for YouTube, Vimeo and HTML5 video
  • control over which content types should be included

When new content is published, the sitemap structure is updated automatically.

SEO on every page and post

Solid.SEO adds dedicated SEO settings to the WordPress editor.

Here you can control, among other things:

  • SEO title
  • meta description
  • canonical URL
  • index / noindex
  • follow / nofollow
  • focus keyword
  • Schema type
  • Open Graph title
  • Open Graph description
  • sharing image
  • Twitter/X data
  • custom JSON-LD

If you do not specify your own values, Solid.SEO uses intelligent global defaults so that new content also automatically gets a solid SEO foundation.

Powerful Schema support

Solid.SEO generates structured data in JSON-LD format and supports a wide range of Schema types.

Including:

  • WebSite
  • Organization
  • LocalBusiness
  • Person
  • Article
  • NewsArticle
  • BlogPosting
  • Product
  • Service
  • Event
  • Course
  • Book
  • Recipe
  • JobPosting
  • SoftwareApplication
  • VideoObject
  • FAQPage
  • HowTo

You can also add custom JSON-LD to individual pages if you need more advanced structured data.

WooCommerce SEO

Solid.SEO detects WooCommerce and can generate Product Schema automatically based on product data.

This makes it easier for search engines to understand, among other things, product names, images, price and availability.

The plugin is therefore well suited for regular business websites, online magazines and online stores.

Open Graph and social media

Solid.SEO ensures that content looks correct when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, X and other services.

You can use:

  • custom sharing titles
  • custom descriptions
  • custom sharing images
  • Open Graph metadata
  • Twitter/X Cards
  • global fallback values

If no custom values are set, the SEO title, description and featured image are used automatically.

Redirect Manager

The built-in redirect tool means you do not need a separate redirect plugin.

Solid.SEO supports:

  • 301
  • 302
  • 307
  • 410
  • 451

Redirects can be based on:

  • exact URL
  • starts with
  • ends with
  • contains
  • Regex

You can also set start and end dates for redirects.

If the URL slug of a published post or page is changed, Solid.SEO can automatically create a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one.

404 Monitor

Solid.SEO records requests to URLs that do not exist.

In WordPress, you can see, among other things:

  • which URL generated a 404
  • number of hits
  • latest timestamp
  • referrer

From the 404 log, you can quickly create a redirect and clean up dead links.

Local SEO

For businesses, Solid.SEO can manage the information used in Organization and LocalBusiness Schema.

You can specify, among other things:

  • business name
  • logo
  • organization type
  • telephone
  • email
  • address
  • website
  • company information

This makes the plugin well suited to local businesses and organizations that want to provide search engines with clear business data.

Image SEO

Solid.SEO can automatically help with images that are missing metadata.

The plugin can, among other things, fill in missing:

  • ALT text
  • image title

This is particularly useful on older WordPress websites with large media libraries.

Breadcrumbs

The plugin has a built-in breadcrumb system with associated structured data.

Breadcrumbs can be used directly in the theme or via:

This means you do not need a separate breadcrumb plugin.

HTML Sitemap

In addition to an XML Sitemap, Solid.SEO can create a regular sitemap that visitors can view.

Use:

Innlegg

Sider

Plugins

This can, for example, be used on a separate page providing an overview of the website’s content.

robots.txt

Solid.SEO allows you to manage your website’s virtual robots.txt directly from WordPress.

This makes it easy to control how crawlers access the website without having to edit files manually on the server.

IndexNow

Solid.SEO supports IndexNow.

When new content is published or existing content is updated, search engines that support IndexNow can be notified directly.

This can help speed up the discovery of new and updated content.

Search engine verification

Verify the website without manually editing the theme.

Solid.SEO supports verification codes for, among others:

  • Google Search Console
  • Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Pinterest
  • Yandex
  • Baidu

RSS SEO

You can automatically insert content before or after posts in RSS feeds.

This can be used for, among other things:

  • source attribution
  • a link back to the original article
  • brand information

This is useful if other websites or services republish your RSS content.

Import and export

Solid.SEO includes tools for exporting and importing your configuration.

This allows you to use the same SEO configuration on multiple websites or back up your settings.

The plugin also supports Solid.SEO profiles, allowing ready-made SEO configurations for a website to be imported via JSON file.

Import support is also available for key SEO data from, among others, Rank Math and Yoast SEO, making it easier to switch to Solid.SEO without starting completely from scratch.

Role and access management

You can control which WordPress users have access to the SEO features.

This makes Solid.SEO particularly well suited for agencies and websites with multiple editors.

Protection against multiple SEO plugins

Solid.SEO alerts you if other well-known SEO plugins are active at the same time.

This reduces the risk of duplicate:

  • meta descriptions
  • canonical tags
  • Schema
  • Open Graph data
  • sitemap files

No AI and no unnecessary features

Solid.SEO is designed for those who want a powerful SEO plugin without AI generation, credit systems or features that are not necessary for SEO work itself.

Instead, you get a solid technical SEO platform that your WordPress website can build on.

Solid.SEO is suitable for business websites, online stores, magazines, news sites, agencies and developers who want full control over SEO directly in WordPress.
